Draft Guidelines for Preparedness, Prevention and Control of Anthrax in Human and Animals in Ukraine

 GIS, through funding from CRDF Global, facilitated a workshop for the Ukraine One Health Technical Working Group to draft integrated guidelines for Anthrax control. This plan was developed through a consultative process involving key stakeholders in anthrax prevention and control in Ukraine.

The workshop was a continuation of a Ukraine TWG meeting that was held in Odessa in September 2017 and focused on drafting a Ukraine One Health Strategic Plan. Ten participants from Ukraine representing human and animal health sectors and subject matter experts attended the Anthrax guidelines development workshop in September 2018.
